A new team is here...

The team from Bedford Community Church located in New Hampshire arrived on Saturday night. Ya´ know it really is fun seeing the different dynamic of all the teams that come to stay with us. So far, the three have all been completely different. This team is very refreshing. The past two teams have been college age kids and this team are all married, have kids, and on average around the age of my parents. Their presence and mindset is so different from the other teams. They are a blast and believe it or not they have the tendency to be a lot louder than the past young adults we have had.

Yesterday I got the chance to experience a Bolivian fútbol game! I loved it. It doesn´t compare to the fútbol game that I saw when I was in Costa Rica (that was insane and by far the coolest sporting event I have been to), but it was still a blast because of the great soccer we got to see as well as so many cultural observations. We will be doing more maintenance work at the orphanages this week as well as getting the chance to play with the kiddos. The schedule also lists the opportunity to go the the children´s hospital in the malnourished wing. I have been wanting to go there for some time now, so I am pretty psyched about this opportunity. Then other than that we will be busy with the team doing other tourist things and also making a bread run! They are really not here for that long...they fly out of here on Friday night, so short and sweet, but I am already thoroughly enjoying this week with them.

It has been something else because I have really been fired up about Proverbs 31. God has been giving me this huge burning desire to be more of a P31 woman. The cool thing is is to see how HE has been molding me already to some day be that wife of noble character. I cannot help but read that passage on a regular basis and it just excites me like none other. So, if you think about it join me by praying that I can continue to honor God by being and desiring to be that Proverbs 31 woman (one day wife) HE so wants me to be! Until next time...
